What we keep, and why

We keep what we need to run a sale fairly and to deliver what you buy, and nothing for advertising.

What we keep

• Your name, email, country and, if you give it, your phone number, so that you can sign in and we can identify the buyer of a lot.
• Your paddle number, your bidding limit, every bid you place and every lot you watch, because a sale's record has to be complete.
• Invoices for the lots you buy, as the law requires.
• If you ask us to sell a work, what you tell us about it and the photographs you send.
• If you turn on notifications, the address your browser gives us for them, which only works for this site.

Who sees it

Other bidders see your paddle number, never your name. Our staff see your account so that they can run sales, raise limits and prepare invoices. We do not sell or share your details.

Cookies

We use one cookie to keep you signed in, and nothing else: no tracking, no advertising, no analytics from other companies.

How long

Accounts that have not been used for a long time are removed. Ask us and we will remove yours sooner, apart from invoices we must keep.
